After catching a few episodes of the American Inventor, I'm rooting for the man with the gyroscope infant car seat. My nomination for the greatest invention of the recent decades are two and both auditory. The wireless headset enables me to listen to music or TV in peace. However, the number one props goes to the little foam ear plugs that reduce sounds by many decibels. Yes, peaceful TV soundless bliss!
The combination of the earplugs, plus the wireless headsets set to a gentle hiss of white noise provides a cocoon suitable for the most taxing concentration for work--or blogging.
