It seems in my arrested development, I did two things this week that I have never done before, that most women have done years before me.
What are those things? One, I had my hair professionally colored, trading the price of four manicures for a session with the colorist.
Two, I had a couple of hours to burn waiting for my son at the mall and no interesting movies to view. I did a bit of Christmas shopping, then decided to try on gowns in the designer shop of the local department store. There truly is a reason that people wear clothes. I could have danced all night.
