70 years old?!?

Singer Janis Joplin would have turned 70 this year.  Articles about her at the anniversary date of her death make it hard to believe that she would have ever lived to see 70. Going out by her own hand at 27 was too young.  But she seemed like someone who wouldn't have lived to a ripe old age, to rock on her Texas porch telling stories about how it was to sing at the height of the 60's era of peace, love and rock n roll.
