DON'T BOTHER ME, I'M WRITING
One son said, "Oh, yeah, Mom's writing a novel."
The other said, "What?"
I said, "I have to go to my room now, I have 1700 words to create today."
Each asked:
1. Am I in it? No
2. What's it about? It's about a mother and her son and there may or may not be a murder, I haven't worked it all out yet. [actually, I have, but I was hoping to avoid a long conversation.] No, they don't kill one another. That's all I know right now, I'm still working it out.
3. Call one of the main characters Sam. Why? Because every novel has a character named Sam and it could be either a male or a female.
4. I have to go to my room now.
