palmbeachrain
I know it's hard not to be completely obsessed with hurricanes following the night of the fourth, with Jeanne passing through our neighborhood as a tropical storm. The birds and insects go a little nuts once the barometer starts to fall, way before any rain or wind hits. The tree frogs and a dragon fly decided my garage was a safe place to be and the birds were calling "Hey, let's get the heck out of here!" from tree to tree. I can't even whine that the cable is out, there are hundreds of thousands of people without power. Above is a before the storm surreal shot of downtown Palm Beach on South Rosemary Avenue, taken thru a car window.
