Locanda San Trovaso. It's situated in Dorsoduro, a five minute walk from the
Accademia Bridge in a lovely quiet area of the city. The rooms with canal
views are naturally a bit more expensive, but oh-so-charming. During the
summer you can enjoy breakfast on their altana, a typical venetian roof

APART'HOTELS IN EUROPE --
There's a chain of apart'hotels called 'Citadines' that are located throughout Europe. In Paris,
their apartments are clean and comfortable with Scandinavian
design --think blonde furniture and IKEA styling. Since the American dollar
doesn't buy as much abroad anymore the ability to prepare meals in the kitchenette is quite appealing. At the end of the day, pop into the shops and pick up some goodies paired with a small bottle of wine. Yummy!
